Chapter
2. Preparing To Install Bankoi WebHost Panel
IMPORTANT
You must install Bankoi WebHost
Panel on a clean server; specifically only the operating
system should be installed. SWsoft will not be held liable
for damages as a result of installing Bankoi WebHost Panel
on a server with anything other than a fresh installation of
the operating system for which the Bankoi WebHost Panel
installation was intended.
Following are the various
requirements that must be met in order to be able to install
Bankoi WebHost Panel on your server.
Supported Operating
Systems
The Bankoi WebHost Panel is
available for the following platforms:
- FreeBSD® 4.7
- RedHat® Linux 7.2
- RedHat® Linux 7.3
- RedHat® Linux 9
NOTE
Theoretically, Bankoi WebHost
Panel should work on all versions of Linux (e.g. Caldera
OpenLinux, Debian Linux, et cetera), but SWsoft has not
tested the software on all versions and cannot guarantee
the product's performance. The current release runs on
specified versions of RedHat Linux. Future releases of
Bankoi WebHost Panel may run on other Linux versions.
Minimal hardware requirements for
the Bankoi WebHost Panel installation are the same as that
of the operating system being installed for use with
Bankoi WebHost Panel.
