Chapter 9. Master Feature
Bankoi WebHost Panel Master - the Bankoi WebHost Panel software with Master feature enabled allows the Administrator to set some specific Bankoi WebHost Panel server to function as Bankoi WebHost Panel master server.
Provided that there are a number of Bankoi WebHost Panel servers networked, the feature empowers Administrator to log on to other Bankoi WebHost Panel slave servers, manage them remotely and monitor the detailed Bankoi WebHost Panel slave servers status information from a single point of entry - a Bankoi WebHost Panel master server control panel.
As an administrator using the Bankoi WebHost Panel software, you can perform a variety of slave server management tasks in a few clicks. When you are logged on as an administrator, click the MASTER button located at the top of the screen to bring up the Slave Servers Administration page. At this page you can register new slave servers, edit slave server profiles, log on to a slave server, search for specific servers in the slave server list.

NOTE
The state of some slave server services can be indicated incorrectly in the interface, as the querying routine functions in accordance with the following database records and their default values:
- slave_services_list_with_non_obligatory_status_checking='tomcat'
- master_services_list_for_obligatory_status_checking='imap, pop3, qmail,apache, ftp, dns, postgresql'
When you hover a mouse pointer over a status icon, the context help tip at the bottom of the page displays some additional information on the problem service.
You can send an e-mail message to administrator of a slave server. To do that put a check mark in the appropriate checkbox in the Sel column, click SEND MAIL.
